After not as much thought as I’d like, I feel that I have no choice. I hereby tender my resignation from Starfleet.

I can’t, in good conscience, participate in this Data Red project. I tried. I’m ashamed of myself for doing it, but apparently my subconscious did a good job of making sure I didn’t do a good job. At least I have that.

I’ll inform Captain Thalla first thing in the morning and expect to return to the Enterprise as soon as possible to pack my belongings.
